In a world where the line between business life and personal life seems to be blurring, it’s interesting how the world of wikibranding is borrowing heavily on lessons from the world of personal branding, and vice-versa. Attached is a presentation I gave to the full universe of George Brown College students earlier this month based on a survey we had canvassed with executive and new hire recruiters. Some of the results about the resume,  the foot in the door, the interview, the evaluation and our rapidfire round may surprise you.

Thank you once again to my panel  of extremely passionate and well-versed  business professionals:

Erin Bury, Sprouter @erin_bury

Alexandra Orlando,  Toronto 2015 @freshfromalex

Soniya Monga, LinkedIn , @soniyamonga

David Nash, InField Marketing, @theinfielder

Also special thanks to Margery Taylor , Peter Widdis and Emma Stringer from George Brown‘s program for convening the event as well as Meghan Malloy and her student squad who pulled off a great night, a lot of Cranium fun and the best smoked meat sandwich I think I’ve ever tasted (@poutinis )
